In 1987, at the age of 14, Tim C. Lee, CEO and Founder of TCL Financial & Tax Services, his mom, and his three younger sisters moved to the small town of Boyce, Louisiana.  Tim initially began 10th grade at Wettermark High School in Boyce.  The following year, the elementary, middle, and high school were consolidated into one new school called, Northwood High School.  Like many small towns, NHS was a kindergarten through 12th grade school for the children of Boyce and the surrounding towns.  In May of 1990, Tim graduated from NHS with a small class of around 26 other students.  Tim's daughter, Tekeydra Lee, also graduated from NHS in 2011.  Even though Tim resided in Boyce for just a few years, his experience in the town was enjoyable, as well as memorable.  Tim still remember the words of the keynote speaker at his high school graduation.  Dr. Haywood B. Joiner, a native of Boyce, Louisiana told his graduating class, "Do not let no one tell you that because you are from the small town of Boyce, Louisiana that you can not be successful and conquer all of your dreams."  Those encouraging words have always remained permanent with Tim and motivates him to aim to achieve excellence on a consistent and continuing basis.  In an effort to assist other students in the rising cost of higher learning, Tim has established a scholarship in the name of TCL Financial & Tax Services at Northwood High School.  Hopefully, the TCL Financial & Tax Services Scholarship will assist and enable deserving students reach their goal of obtaining a higher education of learning.
