In 1999, at the age of 27, Tim C. Lee, CEO and Founder of TCL Financial & Tax Services, enrolled at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi.  Tim admits that being a nontraditional student was challenging.  The cost of college was very expensive, and even with federal financial aid and scholarships; Tim took out student loans to help pay for his education.  The year of 2004 was an excellent year for Tim.  He graduated from JSU at the age of 32 years old and opened his first location of TCL Financial & Tax Services in the same year.  Tim's daughter, Tekeydra Lee, also graduated from JSU in 2015, and Jhazmhon Lee, another daughter, attended his alma mater as well.  In an effort to assist other students in the rising cost of higher learning, Tim has established a scholarship in the name of TCL Financial & Tax Services at Jackson State University.  Hopefully, the TCL Financial & Tax Services Scholarship will assist and enable deserving students reach their goal of obtaining a higher education of learning.
