Since the inception of TCL Financial & Tax Services in January of 2004, CEO and Founder, Tim C. Lee has always taught his own Income Tax Course to his Team Members and Leaders.  The electrifying course Tim created is called, "The Fundamentals of the Income Tax."

Although entrance is attempted every year, employees of other tax preparation companies were always forbidden from attending Tim's class.

Tim has always promised that one day he would allow non-employees to attend his classes, but just not in the early, developmental stages of his company.  He strongly wanted to focus on building his team and clientele at TCL Financial & Tax Services first.

With hard work and proper business guidance, Tim was able to have an awesome first year in business.  So awesome, he was able to open a 2nd location the following year in December of 2005, and a 3rd location the next year in September of 2006.  Amazingly, it took him less than 3 years to accomplish the goal of owning 3 tax preparation offices.

TCL Financial & Tax Services is almost approaching its 10th year anniversary being established. 

Beginning in the fall of 2012, Tim has decided to start offering his detailed and thorough Income Tax Course to the general public; even including the employees of other tax preparation companies.

In tax year 2010, the IRS imposed several changes that affected paid tax preparers and tax preparation companies nationwide.  Every tax preparer has to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and pass a competency test on an annual basis in order to prepare income tax returns.  The IRS has also increased their imposing of preparer penalties for noncompliant individuals.  For these reasons among others, Tim knows it is the perfect time to offer his Income Tax Course to non-employees.
