According to statistics, 50 percent of businesses fail in the first year and 95 percent fail within the first five years.  Those type of numbers had me terrified in the beginning.

When I opened my first location of TCL Financial & Tax Services on January 5, 2004, I was absolutely scared.  Yes I had 10 years of expertise in management prior to making this gigantic leap, but having my own business was going to be an entirely different experience.

With hard work and proper business guidance, I was able to have an awesome first year in business.  So awesome, I was able to open a second location the following year on December 5, 2005, and then a third location the next year on September 11, 2006.  Amazingly, it took me less than three years to accomplish the goal of owning three TCL Financial & Tax Services.

Based on the statistics listed earlier, and the fact that it has been beyond five years since establishing TCL Financial & Tax Services, I can truly say, I have definitely beaten the odds.
